Word does not recognise 'Dyspraxia'

Has anyone else noticed Word doesn't even recognise 'Dyspraxia' as a word? It always corrects it to 'Dyspahsia' (a problem with speech). Surely it's time they woke up to this?

yes ive noticed this and it doesnt help cos its such a hard word to spell i always spell it wrong

I ve noticed this too but i think it is because the dictionary in word is very basic as the word Dyspraxia is in my advanced learners English dictionary 2006 edition maybe when a new version of microsoft comes out it will be on there

Faith in new microsoft? Surely not!

I wonder if openoffice can spell it? Not that you can tell on my PC since I've added lots of random words to most things.

Openoffice.org can't spell it right either, but it works well enough after I add it.

I've used openoffice.org exclusively for the past two years and it is every bit as good as Microsoft office.
