For me it is vinyl shower curtains, inflatable toys, totes, beach balls, etc. that nasty plastic smell when it is first opened (I'm getting nauseous just typing about it). I can't even have things like that in my house. If my kids have something like that..I have to put it outside until the smell dissipates! I can't stand the other stuff either..gloves, etc..but I recently learned that I have a latex allergy so that might explain those! I am ultra-sensitive to all kinds of smells...tastes...textures...sounds. My son was recently diagnosed with an autism disorder and a severe sensory processing disorder (as sensitive as can be on every measure)..now that I know there are such things as sensory processing disorders and developmental dyspraxia...my life just keeps making more and more sense *smile*

Yes. My mother had to buy me numerous types of underwear when I was little. I wasn't use to wearing it and I didn't like the texture of them. I dislike the texture of sandpaper or nail files and hate the sound they make too.

Polystyrene is in my mind one of the worst things in the world… I literally flinch and twitch something chronic… I’ve tense up and all I’m doing is typing about it… when ever we have parcels with it in I get sent out of the living room until all the polystyrene as gone as even the noise is enough to set me off, wont go anywhere near it to touch it!

That and tearing cotton wool..

The killer is that I prefer to write on the blackboard because although I hate the feel of chalk and really hate it when it breaks I get more resistance from the blackboard so it is easier for me to write on it and my writing is better. When I have to write on the whiteboard it kills me. I have to use my little finger to try to keep my hand steady and when I'm finished I have a pain in my arm, hands, shoulder, etc.
