Difficult Birth - Is there a connection?

I know this was touched on in another post, but the focus was more on genetics and birth order, so we didn't get many answers to this particular question. I was interested in the potential link between difficult births and dyspraxia. How many of you had a hard time getting into this world? I managed ...

I imagine myself holding a pen and I KNOW I writw withmy right hand so the hand I close to grip the imaginary pen is my right works every time./ Ruth, that's how I've always figured out my right from my left as well. :-) I was the last in my class to learn to write my own name. Do you think that this is directly linked to dispraxic brain wiring, or do you think it is a side effect born out of the frustration of having every little thing take so much more effort than it should? In other ...

Can you judge your own volume?

I gave up on mascara years ago. Never could get the hang of it. I also find that I can't stand foundation or lipstick, mainly because of the way they smell. (I'm very sensitive to smells.)

Greetings From the Frigid North

Hi, I'm a 33 year-old from the U.S. (Currently in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.) Yes, it's cold up here. About -10 degrees Fahrenheit outside as I write this (roughly -25 Celsius). I was diagnosed with Developmental Coordination Disorder back in the mid eighties when I was almost 9 years old ...

You know you're dispraxic when... You get so caught up in the hold music, you forget why you called. You regularly find cuts and bruises and ask yourself, "Now when did that happen?" One of your most prized possessions is a label maker. (But you probably can't find it.) You call a time service so ...
