Thanks guys!

i shall be a Development officer in the parks and open spaces department of Reading Borough Council. Reading are starting a program of improvements to all of their parks in response to gouverment initatives. I will be assesing the current nature of sites and analyzing what needs to be done to them. Hooray - lots of swings for everyone! I'm really excited about it.

so it is now 4 weks today that I start my new lofty career in ernest - I'm feeling the urge for retail therapy. If I can just find the right outfit for my first day it will all be fine....hmmm. I know I really need to not worry about it too much it will either be fine or it wont and worrying now wont swing it either way still, old habits and all that. Had my hair done today and off into town tomorrow. So smart, profesional intelligent, competent, keen, insightful, funky and young - all in 1 outfit- can it be done?? I may need new shoes too :-s

Professional and kinky are hard to combine unless you have certain select professions.

Well done Ruth, it sounds like a fab placement. Let us know how you get on.

Greg - Ruth said "keen" and "funky" not kinky, lol!

debhamns do great personal shoppers, maybe they could help find the perfect out fit. you should go all out and get perfect hair cut and make up too. congrats and good luck!

lol
Now I come to think of it I can't remember the last time any of my friends went looking for an outfit and didn't use that word. If you expect something your mind'll put it over anything similar :P
