I find I tend to obsess over something a lot. It's great when it's a hobby as I can be super productive. But when it's over something like something from the past, it's unhelpful. But I can't seem to let go.
Also why do we obsess over things? Is it us trying to process things?

Re: Why do we obsess over things and how to gain control
I've found that because of dyspraxia I've had a tendency to want to try to wrest some degree of control of what can seem very uncontrolled. Of course people and things have a nasty habit of doing anything but conform to our sense of what is logical.
Persistence and determination can be something of a double edged sword if we don't recognise a lost cause.

I have become depressed regarding dyspraxia affecting balance . I had a nervous breakdown to get my ADHD detected, early 2020.
