Passing theory driving test

Post by Pamwytcherley »

My 17 yr old grandson was diagnosed with dyspraxia at an early age . It does not affect his mobility but he takes time to process information. He has failed his English and maths exams twice and has failed the theory element of his driving test 9 times . He is an intelligent boy , working in the farming industry. Has passed his motorcycle and tractor tests , as they were verbal not written exams . He did ok in his examinations through covid as they were tested on course work not exam situations . How can I get help for him please ?

Hi Pam

Please refer to
https://www.gov.uk/theory-test/reading- ... -condition
The Nomenclature is often a bit confusing. Please note Dyspraxia is NOT considered a Learning Disability (where this significantly affects intelligence and the affected person might not appreciate the dangers of a developing situation), The fact he drive tractors is going to mean he will have an appreciation of some hazards others likely are less aware of.
