Hey,

I'm so lucky to have come across the forum.

I will talk a bit about myself & journey of dyspraxia;

i am a second-year student of Professional Acting at a drama school in England., and i am 32 years old. It has taken me longer than most to begin university.

I was assessed and diagnosed with dyspraxia and dyslexia around six months ago, and for the past five years, i have been on antidepressant medication. Since being diagnosed at Uni, Once a week, i have had meetings with a Study Skills Tutor & Specialist mentor for my studies.


Since starting my studies and being diagnosed, many emphases have led me towards learning how my brain works and how it retains and consumes information. I also recently discovered that i am a visual learner too.


If there are any actors/performers out there, please do reach out with a reply here; it would be great to connect, i am seeking ways to consume information for acting roles and any other little tips or tricks you may have. i have a few ones myself that work primarily for me, but they don't teach it in school. And so more than happy to help others out.
