Hi everyone!!
I'm so glad to have found this forum. My name is Rebecca and I'm 36- I was diagnosed when I was 24 after a long clumsy accident prone life. The effect dyspraxia has on me is mostly practical/ organisational/ day to day activities related and in fact has given me verbal comprehension skills in the top 0.2% or something. This makes it very difficult for people to believe I have an impairment which has caused issues. I also believe/ know dyspraxia gives us a lot of gifts be they intellectual or even just empathy! I look forward to chatting with you all.
So nice to be here!!!

Hi Rebecca
Welcome and glad you've found us.
Agree we are often pretty intelligent. That tends to really confuse the average fools who seem to believe we cannot be dyspraxic and intelligent.
