My handwritting has always been bad very untidy, illegible and the longer I write the smaler it tends to get - so you don't want to be the last person on my xmas card list...

I tend to use a computer where I can - its not givng in but more a case of what is expected ie from uni and from work... not much is handwritten these days...

I hate taking notes on things because I can not read them later so I just end up sitting there and do not do anything then I loose concentration, its so frustrating.

I tend to use diagrams, but they tend to come out like this:

I've spent years getting my handwriting readable, but it never has a consistant style.

Interesting to see the scan. It's certainly tidier and rounder than my handwriting, although my handwriting seems to vary a good deal depending on the pen and surface used. There are certainly some similarities I see in your scan though, such as the formation of letters. I have issues such as 'is' often looking like '13'. I'll have to post a scan myself when I get back to Blighty. Interestingly my Mum finds my handwriting looks just like one of her work colleagues who is also dyspraxic.

I also have dreadful handwriting I was very slow at learning how to write
I could just about write when i started secondary school but this was increadably slow. i still write very slow at 9 words a minute and end up with writers cramp after about 5 minutes. I struggle to read my own writing so do my friends and lecturers. I used a computer for my exams to make sure my writing is readable. people often tell me I write like a little kid as i write small and put all the letters really close together and put the tails of letters in the wrong places and make letters the wrong sizes.

Ever have any difficult with form? (Not sure if this is associated with dyspraxia)

I often look back on my work, and notice that I've made an imaginary margin. Once an entire page of writing formed a pyramid, with many words at top, fewer in the middle, and one at the bottom.

I also sometimes know exactly what word I want to write, for example: "that", but I will write tht, and know immediately what I have done.. and try either to turn the final "t" into an "a", or fit an "a" in.

I have had constant insults about my handwriting too, needless to say.

Cosine: I remember once, a PE teacher wanted me to kick a ball to him.I attempted to, and it went over a fence. I was really not sure what to do, once I had retrieved it, as there were fences on either side, so I just walked very close to him, and chucked it in his direction. Somehow, it managed to veer off and go over one of the fences yet again.

Also: Where did you hear about dyspraxia? It was the Times for me.

Missing a letter out of words or writing a couple of letters in the wrong order is something I experience quite a lot. Also writing a word that sounds like the word I'm wanting to write is something I do a fair bit too. Even when I'm filling in an important form my mind nearly always wanders at some point and I end up making a daft mistake.

aw, i can't see the picture.
It would be very interesting to see handwriting samples from people.
I have problems holding a pen and hold it practically in a fist to control it.
My friend pointed out to me recenlty that i hold my pen much better in my left hand. :-k
i occasionally write in calligraphy which slows me down so i concetrate on forming the letters.
