It has been a pretty busy year so far.

First off all my Great Nan passed away on January 15th 2009.

February and March 2009 I have sent out about 80 speculative/applications letters to various companies, I have had two interviews so far, one with an employment agency. The other interview was today for an admin postion.

I have still a lot of companies which are worth sending a speculative letter to.

Nice to see you are still trying. Luck will come your way at some point.

An update from me the interview which I had in March 2009 I did not get the job, I was quite high up, 2nd or 3th may be 4th.

Still sending out spec letter, going on a course in a couple of weeks time to help me get some work experience or paid work.

I should have started on the 5th May but due to the paperwork not being filled in (this is not my fault) but I will be starting the 11th May 2009.

It gives me a few extra days to get in some more part-time college, before I go in the evenings and Saturday mornings.

A minor update from me.

I been there seven days and have already got myself a placement interview, I really mean business this time with the training provider, but making sure I dont get into trouble or kicked off the course.

I applied to go full time in my lifeguard job and for the 2nd time i've been knocked back i dont understand why i work so hard and dont understand why they wont give me the job so i've decided to move on and try and get a hospital porter job hopefully at the Royal Surrey

The job is packing various items into boxes, some computer work etc.

Well I have done two weeks at my placement so far, and all is well. It turned out to be something simple, sorting out the envelopes to package items in using the guillotine and also using the paper shredder to recycle waste paper

It all experience whatever I am doing. I supposed it beats being at the training provider all week, but without being at the training provider I may miss sessions which could be usefully, application form filling, interview techniques etc.

At least I have some experience whatever happens now.

I have applied for a few jobs both on-line and the spec letter.
