Strangely, I'm actually pretty good at spelling. It doesn't follow that all my English abilities are great, but for some reason spelling works with me (though I wouldn't go as far as amazing - if I'm not overly familiar with a long word I might not instinctively know).
Hopefully not making too many moot points... heh... *ahem* :D

Most dyspraxics are apparently to some extent also dyslexic (like me I can spell to save my life :) ), im guessing this will affect any language but celtic languages are supposed to be some of the hardest to learn.
English is relativly inflectioanlly simple compared to a lot of other languages and most of its morphographic (I think thats the correct word :) ) rules are fairly constant.
I know this is'nt the case for Welsh (my nan tried to teach me some when I was little and I failed epically ) and I'm guessing since Irish is another form celtic it may be the same.
Look at this way though you are offically bi-lingual thats not bad I can only just about get by in english ;).
