Re Introductions

I'm not one much for chatting as I always feel out of place/space but the polite thing to do is to introduce oneself when amongst new people. This helpsite I believe is in the UK. I hope everyone is functioning well, and continuing to improve.

Thanks, Susan

Hi sue, welcome to the forum.

So why Sartresue, if you don't mind my asking?

I studied Jean-Paul Sartre as an undergraduate and wrote my dissertation on his philosophy, so the name rather stuck out!

Re Lithium Joe's dissertation:

Yes, Jean Paul is one of my favourite writers as I am interested in existentialist philosophy. I have never been to college or university but I enjoy reading philosophy and literature, especially Franz Kafka. Other authors of note are Frederich Nietszche, Ludwig Wittgenstein, and Simone de Beauvoir. The entire list is endless.

Regards, Susan
