currently I'm reading 'Four to get Deadly' by Janet Evanovitch. It's silly chick-lit at its finest! :D

Intervention - Julian May

Is good :) Wonder why I took this long to discover her.

I'm currently reading the book that accompanies the Terry Jones' Barbarians series. He goes for something of a revisionist approach for the relationship between the Romans and the cultures the Romans regarded as barbarians.

Unusually for a history book, it is highly accessible for the interested amateur.

Just read The Other Boleyn Girl by Phillippa Gregory. It's a fine and very absorbing historical novel about Anne Boleyn's sister. They're making a film of it.
Talking of which, I'm now reading The Devil Wears Prada. Not very literary but good fun especially for someone working in the magazine industry!

I'm done with Intervention and nearly though Diamond Mask, I don't have the third book in the trilogy (oi noi) so I'm going onto a translation of Battle Royale, looking forwards to it :D

I’m currently reading the two towers and five other books I like reading but I can only read about five or ten pages before I get bored so it’s a stop and start thing that I can do for about two hours.
