hi all
i took my first and only exam of the semester on the 16th of jan i also use a computer for my exams as my handwriting is practically unreadable and i cant write for more than 10 minites without pain
i found from going from college where i did my exams in a room on my own to university where i do my exams with upto 10 others i found the noises of others typing very disturbing but after the first exam i think ive gotten used to it as if i just try to focus on what i am doing i also arrive early then i get a choice of table and prefer to be on an end rather than between two people.

I got threats of violance and property damage in response to using a laptop for alevel precisely beacuse the sounds of typing are distracting :S

Hope the exam went well

Yeah feck is fine, although we might take you for being Irish if we didn't know you better :P

Good English alternatives include 'thank goodness' or 'thank heavens'. Terribly 1950s, what?

I'm not sure if there are any Scottish equivalents. Possibly they're not repeatable! :P
