I really hate having this disability

Post by BrotherJustin1981 »

I am not diagnosed which i need to point out but it really sucks, I was playing badminton with my brothers, which i suck at, like any other sport LOL, god damn my dyspraxia, and when it was one of my brothers turn to rotate to pair with me they were arguing and saying their supposed to be with someone else when their clearly not making me look like an idiot, like they were fine with pairing with someone else and not me. Just really sad about it

Sports are rarely our strong suit, however I can't imagine that they avoid you for everything. I'm sure you are the go-to person for any number of things (most of us excel at a few things), so think of it as a kind of balance.

I know I'd never be as good at writing, or any number of things, if I'd been better at sports - mostly because of the amount of time I would have spent on any task would have been shortened to make room for whichever sport.

I'm really not a sports fan and really competitive types are dare I say it somewhat annoying.

If anyone wants a competitive badminton partner they need to look elsewhere but if they want to win every game I'm good!

Sometimes it's hard or nigh impossible trying to chase approval and validation from others.

Try martial arts. If you've found an extremely patient master(like mine) then you can learn a according to your own capabilities and rate(time).
