Boyfriends

Post by Creative »

We've had a few topics all about women and girlfriends recently so I thought it was time us girls had a chat about boyfriends.

I've been single for about 5 years now. I was in a relationship when I was 18, he finished it and It took me ages to get over it. I'm 25 now. Recently I started thinking about it again and I wondered what he was up to now. I discoverd his brother on Friends Reunited and sent him a message to say hello. I didn't here anything and I now think I was really silly to get in contact again.

I've been there *hugs*. I think that you never know if you don't try. I wouldn't message and say that you miss them and want to get back together or anything but I don't understand what is wrong with wondering how someone is doing? Though I don't seem to understand a lot of the societal norms regarding relationships and "the game". The longest relationship I've had is like a year :^\ and I'm 36 yrs old.

I didn't say I wanted to get back together with my ex-boyfriend or anything like that in the message. I'm sure that it wouldn't work out even if sometimes I imagine that it would. I've dreamt that it would work out, I've dreamt I've met up with him again, I've dreamt he sent a text message.

I know why I started thinking about him again. I had a difficulty with a family friend and now I don't see her anymore and this has made me feel lonely. It has left a gap in my social life and I'm trying to find things to do to fill it up more. I know that even if I had been able to know what he's up to know then it wouldn't help me. It would make my life far too complicated.

If it makes you feel any better I recently emailed an ex of mine and then had a fairly long phone call catching up on what has happened in the last 10 years.... no intention of getting back together but just nice to catch up and have a gossip....

Ive got a reverse problem... An ex that just wont take the hint and go away... Somehow seems to think Im still interested in being with him... I dont know how to tell him to get lost in a way he'd understand F*** OFF!!! doesnt seem to work...

Ive been in the same HAPPY relationship for 7 years, and whether its me or Clive that tells him where to go he just wont listen..

Ive changed my mobile number 20+ times and he still wont get the hint.

Any ideas? :( :-k

If you have changed your mobile number so many times then how is he still managing to find out your new number?

I think it is time to get the police involved. Hopefully they can warn him off.
