Snow watch 2008

Post by Daniel »

Lots of snow in London this morning.
My parents near the Lakes are enjoying sunshine and no snow at all.

How about everyone else?

It was pea-sized hail in Sheffield yesterday afternoon. Happily I was waiting for a bus so had a roof over my head - but not so lucky the people scurrying for cover with hoods drawn up and umbrellas going inside and out in the sudden downdraft of wind.

I got 4 inches here yesterday and a light dusting today... what wild weather... warm winter and snow in April, what on earth is going on?

Maybe its not global warming, just the seasons moving round the calendar!
