I read a research paper . It stated poor motor skills causes problems with social skills and empathy ( cognitive, compassionate and emotional).
There may be a link between dyspraxia and ADHD, ASS traits etc .
How does motor skills affect empathy and social skills ?

Re: Effects of poor motor skills
An example might be
Someone reacts with ignorance and/or a lack of compassion to what they see as our awkward way of doing something(s). This understandably can get on our nerves, especially if we come to feel it is constant nit picking.
A lack of empathy from others can result in our not having empathy for them either. This might manifest itself as abruptness and this might be perceived as our lacking in social skills. It can easily become a vicious circle bringing out the worst in all sides and causing damage to working or other relationships as positions become polarised.
Often we pick up on the frustration of others and often also focus in with our own frustration with ourselves and we begin to feel we can do nothing right.
