I was just reading on Dyspraxia UK on facebook that the model Paula Hamilton who was in celeb big brother was diagnosed with Dyspraxia at the age of 47. She was diagnosed with Dyslexia at a younger age and bi-polar but not with Dyspraxia .She is now seeing a therapist to help her with her problems.
What the statistics say about how many are estimated to have Dyspraxia doesn't even begin to cut it.How many of our members say they think their parents or their sisters or brothers or some other members of their family may have Dyspraxia, and how many have been ignored by ignorant doctors when they have gone to them,been told by neurologists that their is no such thing as Dyspraxia and just left to get on with it. There are so many older people who have struggled all their lives without any recognition some even in there sixties and not ever had a proper diagnosis and it still goes on becoming the Lost generation of Dyspraxics.
