Re introducing myself

Post by Alex »

Hello everyone,

My name is Alex i am 31 from Surrey. I have just found the site again. I am now engaged to a fantastic lady who i am extremely lucky to have. I know I should put this on the driving topic however i am starting to go through the application process to becoming a Police Officer. I need a manual licence to join. I already have a full automatic is there anyone on here that went from automatic to passing a manual driving test?

Thank you all.

Hi, problem is you’ve learnt to drive with just two pedals and now you’ll have to learn to push a pedal down to shift the gear. It’s all about whether you can practice with a driving instructor who knows you can drive but needs to not waste your time. I’d asked some friends to show you in an empty car park first see if you can get insured or something like that. You cant just change if you’ve been taught auto you have to do test again. Good luck with the police scary but great career
