Assessment

Post by RachTuplin »

Hi,

I have now officially had the second part of my assessment, but I am anxiously waiting for the results.
How long did people generally have to wait to get theirs? I've been told it could take up to 3 weeks! I'm also curious as to what the report will entail and what it will look like? Does anyone mind sharing or explaining what their assessment report looked like/explained?

I'm just a bit nervous for the results, although I feel like I am now on track to getting the help which I need. :)

My only tip would be look at what it says as a snapshot of where your difficulties lie, not an absolute.
Assessment reports often make for depressing reading as they focus on difficulties rather than ability and potential.

It should make some recommendations on what help and assistance may be appropriate as part of DSA adjustments to level the playing field and help you in your continuing study.
