Is the steering and suspension of your vehicle in order? Especially if you've been clipping curbs!
Is is always the (left) passenger side, assuming you're in UK?

With a foot full of bullets I tried to run faster but I just hobbled on to the next disaster.

It's a driving school car. Yes I am in the UK and it's always to the left.
My instructor started asking whether I've had my eyes tested.
My left eye is dodgy, yes I'll admit but my right does all the work.

Have you had your eyes tested lately?

By way of reassurance, I know at least two people with one working eye who drive safely. I guess it is a case of learning to consistently compensate to the right degree.

Also been there when I was new to driving. Used to have someone by my side most of the times until I got used to.
