Re: Difficulty accepting help getting back to work
It's certainly a difficult area. I've spent quite some time trying to find out, largely through first-hand experience, what does and doesn't suit me. Hopefully I've now found the area I've long been looking for, that can sufficiently engage me intellectually without unduly straining my areas of weak...

Re: Sorry not online
I've had loads of problems getting the flat and broadband sorted out in my flat. It should be simple, but there seem to be plenty of people who can attest to it not always being so.

Re: do u find it hard 2 find work
I've fortunately just started a new job, but I had several unsuccessful interviews until I found a job that fit the bill; both for the employer and myself. Should you be struggling to reach the interview stage, make sure you have a CV and cover letter which is well written and does the very best job...

Re: My 10 regular blunders with mobile phones
I find the back and cancel button on my Nokia are annoyingly close to each other, so I often tend to cancel a text msg when I'm trying to delete something I've written. Fortunately it gets saved in drafts so all is not lost. Phones do come in a great many sizes, so if you're not too fussed about par...

Re: any help me about chatting 2 women
A good start is always identifying an area of common interest. Boring them to death by waffling about about something they find deathly dull should naturally be avoided. If you see their eyes glazing over, then look at changing the topic. Being able to make a girl laugh can also go a long way. Obvio...

Re: Contributions needed for new Dyspraxic Adults website
Hi Adam, Thanks for the offer of help. We're really needing some articles about dyspraxia for the new website. Unfortunately I'm really busy with work and some other big things at the moment and I think Pookie the other site admin is much the same, so if anyone can help out it'd be really appreciate...

Have you been diagnosed?
Have you been professionally diagnosed as having dyspraxia? As part of the new Dyspraxic Adults website (currently under construction) we'd like to provide information and experiences to those who are looking to be diagnosed themselves. If you could share your story, experience, or write about the p...

Re: dyspraxia film
GWhizz - it's a great idea. Have you worked with video before? As the previous poster suggested you need to think carefully about how to approach it. Dyspraxia is a wide topic and to make the most of a film it needs to be targeted and have a clear idea of what it's doing and what it's trying to achi...

Re: Driving schools for dyspraxics?
A lot of the time it's best to get some local recommendations. If you know someone who's been having lessons or even someone who knows someone, it'll really help you find a good instructor and cut out the chance element. I used an AA instructor on recommendation who was superb and had just the right...

Contributions needed for new Dyspraxic Adults website
The recent update to the forum is part of a larger upgrade to make a Dyspraxic Adults a broader resource for dyspraxics. To make this a success the site will need articles about all aspects of dyspraxia, such as explaining what dyspraxia is, advising those who think they may have dyspraxia along wit...

Hi Adam and a warm welcome to the forum. What you've said sounds very familiar to my experiences over the year and I'm sure the true is many others on the forums too. I hope you find the forums useful and let us know how the website can serve you better as we're currently working on expanding the si...
