Re: Little experiment; What do you all do?

I play a little guitar, a few chords so I can play folk songs! My main hobbies are target shooting, mountain biking, and hiking. I normally pick hobbies where I'm judged by my own standards!

Re: Folding clothes/paper/towels

My best mate said last week "Calum it appears that you throw your clothes in the direction of the cupboard and hope they fold on the way" I can't fault his logic!!

I also knit, surprising for a boy, but the sense of satisfaction is immense but it takes me a long time and it's full of holes!

Fiddling things

I've used for many years elastic bands for fiddling with, but I've had enough of pinging myself and others with them. I've seen things called tangles which look quite food, does anone have any good subtle things they fiddle with?

Re: Tips for Studying at Uni and keeping organised.

I use post it's and an electronic planner to organise myself, I try to get differentiated notes in lessons which help too. Also if I have to take notes missing out the definite and indefinite article and other adjoining words helps if you write slowly, like me! A dictaphone is good, I've heard, but ...

Re: Christmas

I got hiking kit, and a shaving kit with an ergonomic razor, which may help prevent personal injury! But I agree that presents should be worthwhile and not just rubbish that is defunct after a fortnight.

Sounds great, just remember your cotton wool…you look silly, but it works!

Rock concerts

I went to see status quo last night, I knew it would be loud but this was different, I had cotton wool in my ears! Afterwards my mum said that was a quiet concert, but I could barely stand up straight due to the fact my balance had been shaken by the really loud drums. Does anyone else have problems...

Re: Guess work cooking

I always guess when I have to use spoons and if I'm nearly there, since the fine adjustments usually just end up in a huge mess! But I love cooking, I'm surprisingly good, to my family's delight

Re: Dyspraxics can be fussy eaters

I won't eat mushrooms, sprouts or cauliflower due to texture and taste. I've only just go into eating courgette but it's still a bit slimy to eat. I also don't like beetroot since it stains my other foods on the plate, I eat things in an order generally, and I don't like the taste.
