Re: Finding a job

Hey there! I don't have a driving licence either, so I understand how difficult it is to find a job with limited transport. Is it possible for you to start taking the steps towards getting your driving licence? If so, then it would be a good idea to start as soon as possible. The sooner you can get ...

Re: I got an apprenticeship!

Thank you, everyone! :D I'm looking forward to getting back to work although I am a bit nervous after losing my last work placement back in September. I've got a positive feeling about this place though. Hopefully, I'll have better luck this time.

I got an apprenticeship!

Some people on here may have seen that I was hoping to do an apprenticeship in farming in my first post. Well, I'm starting an apprenticeship on a dairy farm on January 14th! I had my interview today and the farm manager was really kind and understanding. He wasn't put off by my dyspraxia (he's dysl...

Easy recipes

Hi, I was wondering if somebody could suggest some healthy recipes for meals which are quick and easy to prepare/make? The idea of cooking for myself honestly scares me, but I want to get better at it.

Re: I have dyspraxia and I struggle with maths

Hi there! I was in a similar situation when I did my Level 3 extended diploma. I failed my maths GCSE at school in 2016 so I had to retake at college. Eventually passed on the fourth time last summer. My advice is practice with past papers (you can usually find them online). If possible, get somebod...

Re: Hello, I'm new

Oh welcome country girl - I was diagnosed when I was 50. I suspect Pete Guest may be interested if you write up your experiences of becoming an agricultural worker - have you seen the magazine he writes? http://www.dyspraxialifemagazine.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/cropped-NEWWW-LOGO-1.png You ...

Hello, I'm new

Hi, my name is Sarah and I'm 18 years old. I was diagnosed with dyspraxia when I was 14 and I also have anxiety. I've just finished college and am hoping to do an apprenticeship in agriculture. I love the countryside (as you can tell haha). I decided to make an account here to meet people like mysel...
