Re: Does anyone else break zips and tangle up earphones?

Now again I get my Zip caught in the teeth. I dont have to worry about earphones as I dont listen to music when I out and about I prefer to kick my eyes on the road and look out for people trying to chat me up.

Re: Anyone else struggle with job interviews?

Yes I struggle with job interviews in the past have come very closed to getting the job being number 2 or number 3. I have had interview techniques practices from courses I have been on with providers in the past to help me. some of the tips I have been given good some not so good as I have to remov...

Re: interdental brushes and other medical related moans

My dentist told me I should not used these, I been told to use a water pik as I would find it a lot easier to use. I still use my electric tootbrush (charging) however when I am on holiday I have to use my battery one.

Re: Losing jobs.

All the jobs I have had so far have been via employment agencies, I had a 30 day work prep which my Disability job centre advisor arranged at a company but a spell with one of the government schemes (new deal) which the charity had too many people sent to them and he just kept sending us home. I las...

In Year 4 I was in the bottom group for swimming with a few others but we had our own section in the pool. surprising i did worst swimming in front of my class and teacher and first aider. Than with my Dad, Gra...

Re: I cant use any transport.

I dont do bikes (as I still cant rid one even in my 30s) I am more scared sometimes going out as last year I got knocked down by a push bike (our side roads) people park too near the curb road edge As for buses I prefer to sit near the front, I hate going upstairs on the buses. I am okay catching th...

Re: Eating Spaghetti

I tend to avoid anything messy

Even though my Dad is not dyspraxic if he eats spaghetti, shepards pie, curry he does not tend to bother with the knife much, just a fork.

Re: Update from me

My anxiety meaning my health anxiety had a couple of health worries over the last 4 years. Did a customer service course as well which should have lasted longer than four days I felt, On Friday 4th November 2016 went for a job interview which the job centre arranged for me (the team upstairs are sti...

Re: Prom experiences please?

I never had to face this problem, as our year group doing GCSE years ago never had a prom evening (thank goodness) dont think I was one of the most popular students in the year group. The closest thing was the GCSE certifcate evening in December 2000 and possibly was the final chance our the year gr...

Re: I wear out shoes really quickly?

I also tend to wear them out quite a lot, with how I walk. I sometimes blame the pavements and the gravel. I tend to go for cheaper pairs of trainers like no more than £15 per pair. shoes last me a lot longer as I only where them rarely like the captain night on the cruise and during the evenings.

Re: Do you run funny?

I dont run these days, got a couple of cheeky mocking during school from a few kids a lot, I walk funny sometimes and tend to wear my shoes out a lot, I blame the pavements and gravel these days, but sure can walk for miles as each year the school did a sponser walk each year starting from school wi...

Re: New job and should I inform them about dyspraxia

Interesting thread. I have never lasted long than 3 months in a job at a company even though I have disclosed my disability (all jobs via employment agencies) and a placement back in 2009 which I never got much work experience as we were all sent home after 30 minutes per day, nothing to do with our...

Re: Dyspraxic struggling to find a relationship.

I have given up with finding a relationship with a female. Okay I have known people who had relationships which did not last. If I do meet someone, hopefully it will not put her off with my health condition that I dont want to risk passing my condition if we want kids if things go well in the relati...

Update from me

A long time since I have posted on here. Nothing really has changed, I did do some courses through a training provider who help people with disabilities/disabled find employment last year/early this year. Which you should have been there when we did the first aid course (oh boy I struggled with that...

Re: Deleted Facebook

I have rarely use Facebook, joined in 2007 when the site was much easier and better to use, since a lot of changes have been made over the years, more people joined leaving social site Myspace. I don't have many friends as it is (not heard from some people I went to school with since 2002/2003 possi...
