I danced the danced of telling my work and not telling my work for months, but I have never been in a better place work wise... in soo long since I did. I told my boss and lucky for me they are soo understanding and has done more than the speciialist mental nurse to try and help me! Where as the spe...

Re: talking and short term memory

What I find funny is I remember football stats players names how many they scored etc.... but when it comes to my 10th birthday.... my 1st day at secondary school I can only just about remember getting on the bus but thats it! Re: Room 101

I've got another one... PASSWORDS!!! I understand the need for them, but I seem to spend my life clicking on the forgotten password button unless it's the password I usually default to. Is there also any need to have such requirements of a password? £ isn't a real word, neither is @ or # or ?. If I...

Re: Being clumsy

Far too numerous to remember them all, but I once ran into an iron post in the dark whilst supervising a group of kids who were night orienteering!!! I was winded at the time but seemed to get over it quite quickly. About a year and a half later I went to my doctor complaining of pain in my breastb...

Re: Being clumsy

Does anyone else constantly fall down stairs? I used to think it was because I wore heels but no one else I know seems to do it. I once fell down 2 flights of stairs after going to the canteen for lunch. Despite being cut and bruised my lunch survived and I ate it once I cleaned myself up! ah I'm s...

Re: NHS or private assessment?

Hi Tim , Thanks for the advice , wow that is quick! I think I'll wait on my appointment but if I get some crazy waiting list to be assessed I will be quite tempted to go private/ assessed for work . As much as I hate the thought of being assessed at the moment my anxieties are causing me a lot of st...

Re: Being clumsy

Oh man I've got some stories - I find that its actually good to have a little chuckle about it now and then! I'll tell you one of my best. So the first one is from when I was at a summer camp. It was late so it easy quite dark, and I was the only person around at the time (or so I thought). I came ...

Being clumsy

Have you got any interesting/funny clumsy stories?,obviously not including serious injuries. When I was a child/teenager I went to the walk in centre quite a few times. I managed to fall off my Mirco scooter , rode my bike into a metal pole fence...(the bike was more damaged then I was thankfully) a...

Re: Sleepless night

I don't really remember dreams but when stressed I kinda day dream not properly asleep about not being to sleep. So I have in the past stayed awake silly hours so I'm super ...

Re: NHS or private assessment?

Hi Tom, Firstly can I just say thanks for getting back to me so quickly in what I assume is your free time and so in depth. As if people get asking the same question all the time would drive me a bit mad. I'm hopeful the Nhs can help me but no holding my breath, having read quite a few threads on he...

NHS or private assessment?

Heya, I dontt know if this has been asked already( most likely) but a question regarding getting assessed.. I have an appointment with a specialist nurse to start the ground running , as on the phone they said they dealt with mental health. But feeling really impatient and not knowing what is going ...
