Re: Dyspraxic women - do you feel 'body positive'
Thank you for your post. I feel like sometimes my body works with me and sometimes against me. I can swim perfectly fine but practical DIY and team sports no. Luckily, I don't have to involve myself in team sports anymore because I always got picked last. I do feel body positive yes, 10 or so years ...

Relationship with a Narcissist
I feel, as people with Dyspraxia, are known to be intuitive and empathetic,, we can invite the wrong people into our lives. I'm usually, a good judge of character. I was in a relationship with someone that exhibited narcissistic traits. They wanted to be in a relationship with me rather quickly but ...

In the lockdown, the exaggerated emotions, definitely have come into play. I have felt overwhelmed more often and felt, I needed more space from others I live with. This has led to a clash of perception. It has been more frustrating and upsetting to deal with than per usual. Is anybody else ...

Re: Fed Up Of People Trying It On With Comments About MY Weight
Sometimes it would be nice, if people didn't point things out and kept their comments to themselves. I can see how people doing that would be irritating.

Do you prefer specifics, when people ask you questions?
I find when people ask me questions, I prefer for them to ask what they want to ask (specifically) and not infer it. Socially, I find a lot of the way we talk to one another relies on social cues, small talk and general banter. Having Dyspraxia, I prefer if people ask me a specific question like ...

Re: Screwing up the best thing you had
I can relate to this a lot. I'm like a switch once it flicks on, you can't turn it off again and a different side comes out. So what triggers it? Over thinking, not getting the answers I want to hear. It's usually bottled up emotions, which do tend to turn into verbal snappy remarks. I feel bad for ...

Re: Dyspraxia vs long distance relationships
Hello, I'm currently in a long distance relationship too. On the tips front, try to remain calm and not overthink too much. Perhaps write thoughts down, or talk to someone you trust but don't let worrying rule your relationship. Plan, when you're going to next meet as soon as you can, to have ...

Lost in translation?
At least this is how I feel, when I associate myself with the majority of people around me. Here to read about people's experiences with Dyspraxia. I also have it. Sometimes, I come across very differently, from how I hoped it would. My interests are music, movies, homebuddy hobbies and I enjoy ...
