Re: Need some support with emotions and obsessions

Oops, only seen your reply nickye, sorry. I'm glad we can all relate to everyones little problems :p. I am always making the same lists over and over, mainly how many direct debits and my money outgoings each month lol. I seem to find it quite relaxing making lists :D

Re: strange obsessions

Johanna that's really interesting. I'm trying to study for an exam to get a qualification but i find it so hard to concentrate unless i'm fiddling with something. I seem to have a strange love for blue tack, it lets me squeeze and tug on it as much as I like whilst i'm doing something lol.

Re: strange obsessions

Hi Andrea, I think I have something similar to you. I'm terrible at relaxing. Even during weekends from work my mind won't let me switch off and needs to be thinking about something, even when i'm playing the xbox i'll actually be thinking about something else whilst playing the game, so i think it ...

Re: Essay Writing

I know how you feel, i used to be like that with essays during uni. Just keep trying and spend as much time with tutors as you can. I felt it helped putting titles in bold for each section of an essay and then when the essay was finished i'd remove them. That way it's all been written in small chunk...

Re: Need some support with emotions and obsessions

Wish i'd found this website sooner lol I love the way people here are looking at the funny side of this condition, which i've started doing now. Hi All, I'm studying for an IT qualification,(Comptia A+), to help me enter the industry but I can't believe how much there is to learn . The exam is 100 multiple choice questions and 90 minutes long. I was wondering if anyone has any memory techniques for dealing with loads of information for ...

Re: Need some support with emotions and obsessions

Thanks for your kind words. I've read a lot of posts about how it affects handwriting and as mine is terrible (like a child), i was wondering if it can be improved with practise or just one of those things we can't control?

Re: Need some support with emotions and obsessions

Thank you so much for this, it's like a little light bulb just got turned on. The thought process example you gave is so true for me. I went on holiday last week with my friends for the first time and at like all hotels we had a card to swipe when opening our room door. However, I had so much troubl...

Need some support with emotions and obsessions

Hi All, I've just joined the forum and would really like some help if you can. I was diagnosed with Dyspraxia when I was very young, (24 now), but got through school, got a degree and am now working full time in London. But I've recently noticed some things, which are starting to bother me and want ...
