I agree with you Greg about tangents being good etc etc. However, they should not be done at hte expense of the individual that the tangent has been drawn from. I don't particularily like finding myself being quoted out of context and with exasperation as if what i had written was so outrages ...

Arthmelow: why take something out of context and make a crusade about it, especially when you are so rude about it. one day when you grow up and relaize that you don't know everything and your first thoughts are not necassarily your best thoughts. you might be able to apprecialte then, that ...

I'm confused about the refference to learning disabilities in a forum dedicated to the specific learning difficulty of dyspraxia. People with learning difficulties usualy have IQ's of average or above average intelligence (what ever that means). learning disabilities, refers to people with such ...

I do the same. reverse the meaning of what i want to say and place a similar sounding word to the word that i meant to say. However, it is not a dyspraxic thing because it is very common amongst the NT's, and is just indicitive of the fact that we don't think in language and need to translate our ...

I really would not worry about your maths test as it is purly to see what level you are at so that they can place you in an appropriate class. I did an access course a couple of years ago and that is exactly what happened. I did my test at the same time as this woman. i did really well, i never had ...

an interesting topic. personaly i find the term disability a very disabling term. when ever i think of myself as having a disability or being more challenged than others, i become more clumsy and inarticulate, as if i have to start to imitate that label. on the other hand, if i refrain from that ...

She is a proffesional within the feild of specific learning difficulties and knows a lot more on that subject then most lectures and even educational psychologist because she deals with it on a daily basis. she told me one story, where a staff ...

Thanks for your comments Daniel. Even though i do not feel like i have all the answers, if any, but try making your desires or intentions known in a humourous manner and try and have a laugh about it. the chances are the girl is just as shy as you, and making a joke out of it will make her, and ...

I hope that my rejection was not due to my dyspraxia, as well. I had taken the view that it was more likely due to the fact that my application was sent towards the end of the deadline and after most of the interviews had taken place. however, the reason i posted my experience was to interject the ...
