Re: My dyspraxic sister constantly turns the central heating
I used to have my radiator off and my window open all year round through snow, wind and rain, but I always had my door shut to keep the cold contained to my room and never turned off any radiators other than mine. I understand how uncomfortable heat is and how comfortable being cold is to some but y...

Re: You know you're dyspraxic when
You run to an interview thinking you're half an hour late only to find out that you're a month early.

Re: Am I dyspraxic? Help with the NHS and diagnosis please!
I have been trying to get my diagnosis for 8 months through my GP, I'm no closer now than I was the first day I went to get it done. If you want to get it down on paper I think you're going to have to get a private diagnosis.

INTJ for me. I'm surprised that there is such an even spread, I was expecting the results to be concentrated on 3 or 4 types.

Re: Do teenagers change when they're an adult?
I think with all your questions the answers will vary person to person. My dyspraxia has got worse from 18 onward(I'm 20 now), I'm not sure if it's because I was expecting my general awkwardness to get better with confidence gained from experience and it not happening draining my morale even more, o...

Re: The walking dead
Never seen it, is it worth watching? It's got zombies in it, defiantly worth watching. Surely everybody has at some point thought about what they would do and where they would go in a zombie apocalypse when they are bored, these day dreams got me through slow school and college days pretty swiftly....

Tempted to make a thread for random interesting things, but I would end up just copy and pasting the whole of wikipedia.

Re: Grammer and Writing reports for work
I would get a few books on something that interests you, if you start to enjoy to reading your spelling and grammar should improve on its own. If that doesn't help then at least it might expand your vocabulary, new words are good words and they make you seem smarter.

You've pretty much answered the second part of the first question, but any part where you don't think they will see as relevant I would explain why you think it is. For the life experience you could write about your dyspraxia which I'm assuming is a part of why you are interested in doing psychology...

Re: Dream/ Ideal job for a Dyspraxic
I would love to work in a museum or a library with lots of old books, but no computer stuff. In neither of those scenarios do I see myself doing much work though, unless you class hiding away and gathering as much pointless knowledge as possible work.

Explain the relevance of your life / educational experience to your application and state your educational goals and objectives? I think its just asking if you have done any thing related to the course you're applying for, if you can't think of anything post what course you're applying for and I mi...

Re: Overly empathetic?
Yeah I try to stay away from any crime related news because it brings my blood to a boil as well as making me feel bad for the victim, ugh I hate criminals so much. I suppose if we are more empathetic it would make sense also having a strong sense of justice.

Re: Dyspraxicia costs
It definitely affects my wallet, impulsive spending on things I don't need and sometimes things I don't even really want. I break or lose Ipods or phones almost annually as well.
