Re: Can video games help Dyspraxic difficulties?

Re: Hand shaking/fumbling

You can become more clumsy if you are rushed or are feeling under pressure, if your hands are shaking at home and you dont feel under pressure and you have noticed it getting worse a trip to the Doctor might reassure you there is nothing else causing it.You dont say how old you are but as you get ol...

Re: Changing with age

I personally thinks it does, I find you can be more fumbly with fasteners and buttons, and easily more frustrated with everyday things. As we age we dont have as much energy and stamina as we did when we were much younger although we like to think we do so we tire more easily with problems we already ...

Re: Need some advice for a situation with my bf

Nothing to do with Dyspraxia so dont listen to the excuses that he makes because of this .A cheater will always a cheater in my eyes ,and will always make excuses for his behaviour. You will always looking over your shoulder as to whether you can trust him or not. You deserve better so I would find ...

Re: dyspraxia sleeping problem/fears...

You become fearful and dreading when you go to bed because you think the same thing is going to happen to and you always get more of what you focus on.The unconscious mind is monitoring everything you think so when you focus on images of staying awake the unconscious mind takes it as a command and h...

Re: Left handed

Ambidextrous can be quite common in Dyspraxics because we are all cross lateral ,which means you could be left handed .right eye dominance, maybe left eared , or right footed .or ambidextrous,Its only when you get rigorous tests that it begins to make sense. My son was asked to hop across the room h...

Re: Help with 18 year old son

I think it would have been much easier to get a diagnosis when he was at school and getting a referral to a Child Development Centre in your area.It is a lot harder once you have left school and depending on your Doctor whether they take you seriously or not ,some Doctors are not even sure what Dysp...

Paul Mckenna does a couple of books one being I can make you sleep and the other is to Control Stress and he gives you tips and techniques on how to fall asleep and different strategies so if one does help the others might and the best of it is they all come with a free CD which can be quite hypnoti...

My son is in his twenties and he still...
