also ask your manager if you tape record coversations and then you catch up as well it works i have tried it once for college and it really helped. of course i haven't tried at work yet but if you find that you remember what's been said after the meeting etc (reflection notes) it will work.

I confuse my buspass with my rail card a lot and also confuse it with my debit card as well.

I also find the light/noise sensitivity very annoying at the moment and somedays a normal house light can feel like I have dipped my eyes in bleach or chlorine other days a lamp can be too physically demanding. I also cut down on the use of my computer, texting and watching tv but nothing has worked...

I get the same if i walked more than two miles normally i can do two-three miles but lately i have just been managing a mile or so with lots of small rest breaks.

When someoneo assumes I can't do something and really I really can People that say that social work/nursing/teaching etc is too above me or that i won't cope. People say that i should give up on the idea of going to university and get a proper job like everyone else. I already have two jobs as it is...

Also hiring a person with dyspraxia/dyslexia etc is best for the company simply because they don't have take out a huge insurance policy for that person but for someone with a severe learning disability they have to as they more likely to cause problems for themselves and others.

one thing I have learnt especially when it comes to making friends always carry around a small little note pad about the size of your phone to help you remember your new friend's cat/dog/brother/sister etc. Otherwise they won't be that happy if you say "How's Rosie?" and you forget your re...

when you have to use every reminder thing known to man to help you remember stuff. Carry a reporters/journalists notebook with you it may help and then read from the notebook it always works for me. I also found that I am a lot more friendly with my penfriends who've i have known forever and people i know of online than I am with my real friends and some days wish my real friends were my penfriends and my penfriends and chat mates were my real mates then i would be happy. @Icandoit. well done firstly doing a degree, msc and pgce and phd that's really impressive with Dyspraxia. the best the best thing you can do grab a sheet of a4 and pencil and sketch/draw/write what's gotta be done you can be a scruffy as you like and it doesn't matter if you spelt everything wrong,...
