Re: Any tips for winding down after work?

I slept okay, but I'd wake up after a couple of hours after dreaming about work. Yup, I do that a lot, I think it made worse by the fact that I'm still on three month probation (not cos I've messed up its just standard policy) so I'm even more stressed because until that's up they have the right to...

Re: Any tips for winding down after work?

Hey, I started a new job in June, and I was exhausted after work, every day for about two months. I slept okay, but I'd wake up after a couple of hours after dreaming about work. I found I have to forcibly leave work at work. As soon as I get out of the building I take off my badge. Because we're no...

Re: Dyspraxia hobbies

I knit, sing, play computer games, read (a lot). Sometimes I write. Recently I've been walking and geocaching but of course they're pretty difficult. I like being out and about, but I don't like falling into mud puddles!

Re: strange obsessions

When I was in Uni I had a terrible time concentrating on lectures until I worked out a bit how my mind worked; It's like there are two parts of my brain: Part A wants to be thinking about things - so in class, it's paying attention to the lecture. Part B wants to be doing things. Part B was like a s...

Re: 'walking straight'

I can never walk in a straight line, I also can't stand still in one spot. after about 8 seconds I begin to lose balance and have to shift. It's subtle, but noticable, if you look out for it.

Same old... Hiya!

So, I was on this forum a few years ago. I liked it here very much, but I'm awful at keeping up with forums. but.. well, I'm at a weird stage in my life right now. I love my college course (film production), my husband (gorgeous and supportive), but I have no friends any more. Literally. None. I hav...

Bridges. I think it's becuase I'm dyspraxic - the more I can see off a bridge, the scarier it is, and I think it's becuase i can imaging myself just tripping up and going flying over the edge.

I'm not depressed - I'm happy and faily well adjusted, but I am a terrible procrastinator, and not very motivated at all.

In my last college, when I did Drama, I told the learning suport peole I was Dyspraxic, and they told one of my drama lecturers. I didn't get any feedback from her for a month, but she was also deliberately not choosing me to read from the text. Soone day, it came up in conversation about the Dysora...

I'm not good with people, and so I had given up on men entirely untill 2 and a half years ago - then David came along, and I fell in love. He's just as weird as me, with the patience of a saint, so he doesn't mind picking up after me and helping me out when I have a bit of a breakdown after breaking...
