Hi
I'm not technically new, I joined AGES ago, shortly after this site was set up but only posted once! My previous post was also to introduce myself.
I am a frequent poster on the dyspraxic teens website (http://www.dyspraxicteens.org.uk) and am known as 'C' there. Before dyspraxic teens, I visited Matt's Hideout website and posted there as well. I am nearly twenty-one now though so really suit this board more, it's just I'm addicted to the dyspraxic teens site and don't want to ever leave!!! I have been browsing through the posts here and recognise a few familiar names. There was a discussion over on dyspraxic teens about here and I thought I'd come on again. It's really changed!!! Maybe I'll come here as well as dyspraxic teens from now on.
Although I was diagnosed with dyspraxia when I was very little (about six or seven I think) my diagnosis recently changed after an assessment at Uni (I'm studying psychology in between my second and third year at the moment). My official diagnosis is now non verbal learning disorder (or NVLD), although I still use the term 'dyspraxia' as it's better known and a lot of the symptoms are similar.
So... anyway, here I am. Back again.
Hi! (although technically I've been a member for a while)
