Hi Everyone,

I hope people don't mind me here, as technically I am not an adult (17 and a half) and my DT account has accidently been inactivated...

Anyhow, I have severe dyspraxia, PDD-NOS/ASD, SID,Tremor,Hypertonia,Interned Femurs and a nut allergy!

 Cool forum!

Hi Ruby and welcome!

Hope you don't mind me asking, but what's PDD-NOS and SID? I'm not terrible good with abbreviations! (though I do know ASD  )

Best wishes,

Basically, it has been said I display some austistic like traits, but I don't quite fit the criterea for aspergers. Persausive Developmental Disorder - Not Otherwise Specified.

SID? Sensory intergrative dysfunction/Sensory Processing disorder, whatever you may call it! I was diagnosed with this at 16. Basically I have extremely hyperacute hearing, smell, touch etc.

Thanks! Tis always good to learn something new!
I'll take some of your sense of smell issues - I pretty much don't have one, being plagued with nasal polyps, so I'll swap you, if you like ;) Only stuff I can smell is (bizarrely enough) fruit and poo! What a combination!

Nah, I'll pass lol!

It is quite cool and annoying- I can hear whispered converstations despite being upstairs, but I cannot sleep in the same room my phone charges- I can hear the electricity! I was up until about 2.30 last night trying to kill midges and stop a dripping tap lol :P
