The School run….

Post by Kat705 »

Hi everyone so it’s been a while since iv been here, currently needing some tips or advice to sticking with a solid routine in especially struggling as my little boys just started nursery (age4) he’ll be 5 next September and we’ll be going into reception. Bit of a long story but basically we were going to home educate him as his first nursery was awful with him and scared us big style.
Now jumping ahead to what I’m a actually worried about 🙈🙈🙈
Does anyone else find drop offs and picking up from school so stressful? Mornings I find hard to think of what to wear myself and then making sure he’s on time eeeeek
I’d appreciate anyone else’s input thank you xx

It seems to have become almost a social event the school run, where parents judge each other on who has the worst pyjama/dressing gown and crocs combination.
What type of school is it and what do you see parents wearing when they drop off/pick up? If someone judges you for something so petty, is the problem yours of theirs?

Could you establish a routine for him to learn. What are the barriers /distractions that cause delays in the morning and what can you do to mitigate or eliminate these

With a foot full of bullets I tried to run faster but I just hobbled on to the next disaster.
