"Be more careful"

Post by RufusWilddog »

:S. Yes that old chestnut. Hindsite is a wonderful thing as is telling a dispraxic to "be more careful".

I think this is a very common thing in work, with friends and family... Anyone experience this?

For me; I couldn't be more careful if i tried! Taking extra time, being gentler and more mindful can only get you so far. When it comes to subconcious things like making/ grabbing a drink or having a wash im not used to thinking about these things whilst I do them- we only have so much capacity for conscious effort before mental exhaustion sets in and considering (from what i have read from some books) we only consciously acknowledge 0.04% of informational input and output.

Today ive spilled bright red mocktail up my wall, lost half a packet of tobacco when taking it out my bag and smashed a plate which had tonights dinner on it; And I wont lie im angry at myself a bit too.

More of a pappy rant than a post of intrigue or information purpose, none the less i do get frustrated some times and sometimes I wish people would "be more careful" in what they say!
Whether you think you can or you think you can't; you're right!

Welcome Rufus

We have to be more conscious of more or less everything we're doing and that can be tiring.

It's especially galling when people are quick to accuse of negligence /lack of care.
