While the pace is slower here that can be a distinct advantage sometimes too.

I’m no gardener but would love to grow basil thyme and rosemary, do you just grow them outside. Some advice would be great.

They’re super handy for cooking, and they don’t need much fuss—just a sunny spot and soil that doesn’t get soggy. Once they’re growing, they pretty much take care of themselves.
I’ve also planted a few marigolds and lavender because they brighten things up and bring in bees, which is always nice. There’s a cozy seating corner too, where I like to chill out surrounded by all the greenery.
