Hi I’m new

Post by Kate53 »

Hi , I’m Kate and I’m new to the forum. A colleague of mine was talking about dyspraxia the other day, her son has it, and she was saying I should read about it after she heard about the number of times I’ve fallen over recently, it seems that I do have a tendency to fall or trip, my last fall was during a half marathon, it was on a flat tarmac surface, and it’s really dented my confidence about running, I really don’t want to do myself serious damage!! I’ve always considered myself clumsy ( I was as a child), but I never considered it to be a sign of dyspraxia.

Clumsiness is not the be all and end all of Dyspraxia and while it's the best known trait, there are other things we can struggle with beyond difficultywith fine and gross motor coordination.

With a foot full of bullets I tried to run faster but I just hobbled on to the next disaster.
