assistive technology

Post by NEELY »

So i'm an Australian uni student who has been diagnosed with dyspraxia since childhood but I never received much help for it, as there was little available to me at the time. now at university, I've received a small amount of funding for assistive technology in order to help me get through tasks and accomplish what I need to on a daily basis. however, in all my research, I've not found much. so far my main goals are organisation, and better typing and handwriting skills. although I'm intrigued to find anything that can make life easier.

do you know of any assistive technology for dyspraxia & what does it do?

and/or

what are some of the things you use to accomplish different tasks?

If only there was an App to compel people to rethink their attitude to difference!

Finding something that works for you and someone who can help with training so you can get the best out of the technological aid is really important.
