Tiredness

Post by gherkin001 »

I am so tired all the time and cant work out why. Normally I'd be inclined to think its because of my pregnancy, but its been going on longer than that.

Is it a dyspraxic thing to always be so tired or should I be seeing the doctor?

I've fallen asleep at nightclubs, in people's houses, sometimes even in bed.

I certainly do get tireder than the average person. But when I'm out walking on my own, I could walk forever.

Great news about the pregnancy, very good luck with it. I've 2 daughters aged 3 and 1, and I can tell you, no matter what has happened in your life before, the birth of your first baby is the start of chapter 2 of your life. There's nothing like it.

i'm tired all the time but i don't think i could fall asleep in a nightclub!

i've put my tiredness down to being vegetarian and possibly anaemic so i've started taking vitimin tablets.

I get easily tired and spend the majority of my time tired. I don't think I could fall asleep in a nightclub, then again you wouldn't find me in one anyway. I tend to avoid nightclubs because I get sensory overload very quickly.

you haven't got a very nearly there! as I remember the end of June, it was like nearly 4:45 am, I had been awake for nearly close to 27 hours, and my cousin was still out partying!

I very nearly was asleep, my eyes were starting to get extremely heavy, and next to impossible to keep them open in the night club.

and it wasn't through drinking! ok yes I had enough to be a couple of times over the legal limit if I was driving, but I was still one of the most sober of the group.

then having like 5 hours sleep before going to my grandparents place to see them go, it must be said, I looked one of the better party group!! even if I didn't feel it!

so suppose my answer would have to be yes, which is the nearest answer, as I was very nearly, like 2 - 3 minutes more.

Kirsty, first off Congratulations, as for the tiredness, it possibly well could be due to the dyspraxia, as it takes us a lot more effort to do an everyday task than a "normal" person, because of the problems we face.

plus then the fact if you got your mind still doing a 1001 things before a nights sleep, then takes longer to finally reach a deep sleep, and that will take its toll.

I try not to think of anything, and still get buzzing in my ears for hours, so find that even harder to get to sleep. there again my pc isn't the quietest of machines, so pssibly that, that is causing the buzzing.

Thanks, I'm going to have to try emptying my head before sleep to see if that helps matters.

I can fall asleep absolutely anywhere. including sat at the table having dinner (i thought only babies do that!) nightclubs, football stadiums, concerts, festivals, buses etc etc etc... the list goes on!

I find I am tired most of the time but I can't say it is all from dyspraxia as I have sleep problems and depression as well so there are no clear dividing lines...
