Dyspraxic Adults

hi everyone,
first time posting here, looking for a dyspraxia support group in the stoke area as i have no friends and feel at 24 i should be able to meet people and crack some sort of friendship but i've got nothing and as much as i work i have a crappy job that doesnt envolve being around people (litterally on my own at work) and it's getting to me so much now that i'm beyond depressed.

I'm on sone Facebook Closed Dyspraxia Groups so will ask If there any local grps n existence in Stoke area. - Is that Stoke on Trent or Stoke nr Cov ? (I used to live in Cov about 35yrs ago so know of at least two Stokes.)

When I first moved to my local area (Glos)I found a pub with weekly quiz (as that was one of my passions) and met new people through that.

Equally there may be Meetup groups of interest, (not necessarily Dyspraxia focused)?

thank you for the responce, i did not realise there was more than 1 stoke. i live in stoke on trent. i have no interest in pubs as i dont drink alcohol and when people tend to go there i couldnt go anyway due to having children so unable to go.
however i do finish work in the morning hours so that was why i was looking more for a support group thought i may find one in the afternoon times.

Assuming you have not already contacted them, the Dyspraxia Foundation will be able to tell you if there's a local adult support group. A lot of groups they have seem to be more geared to parents with affected children.

That said there is a facebook group for parents with Dyspraxia which featured in an article in the recently launched Online magazine Dyspraxia and Life.
