haha that's a pretty good tip indeed :)

although i can no longer stand hard rock i still go to alternative clubs (mainly indie nights) and people just don't care what you're getting up to on the dance-floor! i stopped being self-conscious about my dancing a while ago when i realised that i wasn't having any fun on my nights out, and i'd rather risk people giving me the occasional weird look and have fun dancing!

you soon realise that most people are too drunk and busy having fun themselves to notice what you're doing.

I would love to be able to dance. I don't think anyone would have the patience to teach me.

I found the disco's were the best place, as it was all about flashing lights in the 90's, so it made everyone look like robots!!

but then they discovered that it affects epilepsy, so they seem to have stopped a large amount of it.

maybe we should protest against the music levels, as I find it very hard to think, talk, walk or anything with 2,000 watts of music power and bass going right through my body! at full volume

I struggle to tolerate noisy clubs too, even though at other times I appear hard of hearing.

I really enjoy dancing, but only when alone and with no mirrors around. It's not conventional dancing (convention - yuk) but whatever I'm doing it's cathartic and expressive movement, so what else should you call it? Jumping and running and spinning all at once is what it looks like, but it feels like dancing.

I (try to) dance a little. Since I'm really into electronic music, everyone is on a bunch of drugs anyhow hahaha. Most of the time everyone there just sort of makes it up as they go along, so I've been able to blend in good enough - doing the whole "wavy arm" thing...
