I answered yes to nearly all of these questions, and the ones I didn't may have been compensated for by early childhood development (my dad's a musician and I'm good with rhythm, early use of computers). Appalling to me no behavioral specialist considered this before, but what do I know? I hope to get a real assessment soon.
Hi

Not all of us will tick all the boxes, it's more a case of being able to tick enough of them. Though yeah we've heard of professionals saying oh you can type/drive/play an instrument, you can't possibly be dyspraxic! We all present differently and there may be things we can do that theoretically the Dyspraxia Manual says we shouldn't be able to.

Best advice re getting a formal assessment varies depending on individual circumstances.
