Dyspraxic Adults

I'm diagnosed - when I apply to universities, at what point (and how) should I make them aware of this?

I start applying in a few months time, was just wondering if anyone could help me.

I would let them know as soon as possible if you are comfortable with this...

You can then talk to there disability support team and make arrangements to get the support you need for exams, lectures, extra tuition and get DSA allowance sorted out for equipment. It all takes time to organise, so disclosing sooner rather than later is in your best interest..

theres a part of the ucas application form in the personal details were u can put thatuhave a learning difficulity. i did this and thenphonedup and had with the disability team wen i put my application in. they wre very good, and got all my 6 choices offered to me. good luck

Normally the application form has an "are you disabled" question. I tend to tick yes to that and write in dyspraxia. The uni was very good about it and sorted my DSA pretty much before I'd arrived :D
