How much do you think about, or focus on relationships?

I was curious, how much time you think, or talk about relationships.
For example, I'm in a romantic relationship and I find, I want to analyze things and discuss the relationship, and am focused on it. To the point my partner mentions, I'm taking about relationships again.
I know why, I'm probably fixated on this topic but I was curious, if other people find they do that too, whether they are in anything, or not.

Hi and welcome
A fair bit though I'm a guy and still very much single. I would say I think about them more than is good.
I find I like, even need, to know where I stand. However, Dyspraxia has a tendency to make everything chaotic, when I'd really prefer some semblance of order (that makes sense to me) Unfortunately life is generally chaotic as it's dependent on numerous factors, chief among those, other people and is therefore not something one can really control. The dating game is sadly all a bit alien to me. Though you might also say I just haven't been lucky enough to meet the right person/make the right connection yet.
It's all about a balance and I guess if we focus too much that runs the risk of it being too much for a current or potential partner.

I do tend to think about friendships and relationships a lot, and I find myself getting attached to people very quickly and easily, however, I'm not very good with actually holding down any kind of relationship. I only really have about 5 friends, and I've had 2 relationships in my life, neither of which went very well

Personally, I think about relationships a lot, it causes a great deal of anxiety. I've been bullied in my life; I've been made to feel like a complete idiot; and I've struggled with my clumsiness and my differences. I've always been known as 'the guy who had that special teacher at school', and I've always been viewed upon as an idiot.
All I've ever want is a girlfriend. I struggle socially because I'm so nervous around people thanks to bad experiences, and I just want somebody I could love and be my best friend.

Hi Ben
It's hard to know what to say here as words can't ever undo what you had to go through and my words probably seem a bit empty and meaningless . However, you're here and many if not all of us can empathise have experienced varying degrees of bullying ourselves. The scars it leaves and the resultant effect on self esteem and confidence are sadly often overlooked. Remember it is they who are/were the idiots and we can only hope some of them will grow up. If you want to write about your experiences here please feel free to unburden yourself. Equally it might help to speak to a counsellor to help you make sense of your feelings and not feel so bad about feeling the way you do.
You may have read some of our posts about the frustrations and pitfalls of dating today and no doubt are feeling desolate?. I really hope you do find someone who loves you for who you are. Please don't be too keen to think it is all your fault and do try to like and value yourself for your qualities like being loyal and seeing things differently.
Anyway I hope my response is of at least some small comfort?
