Hi Folks. Sorry but I'm removing my posts for now as I think I've unintentionally upset a friend with them.

Whoops! Just a touch of dyspraxia :) can't remember the post but here's my definition :

Dyspraxia is a condition that arises when someone subconsciously holds their body in a permanently tense state (often as a result of an inherited lower back pain they are born with).
Muscles contract but never voluntarily relax throughout the entire body (and brain), which effectively stores every movement or sensation felt that involves a muscle contraction (this includes emotion), with no distinction as to good, bad or indifferent. This leads to a massive build up of tension and because physical limits are reached this stored tension constantly leaks. In effect past sensation (physical and emotional) randomly overflows into the present causing physical and mental confusion and often anxiety. There is also a heightening of sensation over time as current sensation is felt on top of the stored sensation.
Dyspraxia is often complicated by damage, particularly head injury, that would have otherwise recovered but because of this tension it is held permanently (though any compression injury will be held and can subsequently be added to) . The negative effect emotionally of this constant injury and the storage of emotion in dyspraxia, means that depression is common and to a lesser degree so are personality disorders.

Can you tell us whether your getting treated by a professional, or whether it is a cure that you have created from your own research?

Hi Ram, thanks for your interest. I'm not getting treated by anyone, I've never been officially diagnosed as dyspraxic though my GP did try and get one at one point but there isn't any such service for adults in my area. This came from exploring my own symptoms and following my own instincts. I don't know of anyone else that is researching theories similar to mine but all I can say is that I seem to be getting results though it's not a quick cure :)

I don't think anyone is expecting a quick cure! Even the Dore program never claimed to be able to cure Splds fast.

Anyway, I look forward to your ideas being available to the public in due course, in a book,on a video ,at a workshop or whatever else.

Given that dyspraxia is probably an umbrella term for all sorts of conditions, it is perhaps unlikely that anyone can find a universal cure for all from of dyspraxia. But even if what you have used on yourself can cure some dyspraxics from the worst effects of their symptoms, it is still quite some achievement.

Thanks Ram, I really hope this will be some help to others in time. I am just pleased to get the results I have so far and I certainly never expected my hair to be growing back so that's just a bonus. I don't really have any further plans just to see what comes but I'll post further updates if and when I have something new to show.

Hi all, I've not really got anything new to show but as it's been a few months here's a new photo of my slowly returning hair....

It's difficult to show evidence but huge changes have happened and are still slowly continuing and as I'm certain that in time this will lead to benefits for all of us I want to keep my definition out there for people to think about.

There is also a heightening of sensation (again physical and emotional) over time as current sensation is felt on top of the stored sensation.
Dyspraxia is often complicated by damage, particularly head injury, that would have otherwise recovered but because of this tension it is held permanently (though any compression injury will be held and can subsequently be added to) . I forgot to mention that I shaved my head after the last photos, so this is all new since then. :)
