Dyspraxic Adults

Hi guys,
My name is Laura, I'm 15 and have dyspraxia, I've been talking to a 16 year old lad who lives in the same city as me. We've been talking for a while now and I have developed a crush on him and he said to me that he also has a crush on me too, we are meeting very soon and I'm really scared if I tell him I have dyspraxia he might find it hard to understand and reject me. I have been in relationships before and when I am being touched I do get surprised but then I start to get over excited of being touched and also I'm quite an awkward person which is misinterpreted to being cute when it's not because I don't know what to give in return or even what to do and I'm nervous on what I should ask him to get to know him much better

My advice is to keep really personal stuff like this under wraps at least until you can gauge if he is a decent person. And by this I mean from face to face interaction, it's very easy to act like the best guy in the world over text chat.

Personally I don't think he needs to know until some way into the relationship. If he likes you, then he'll like you regardless.

And when you do tell him, and you will because good relationships work on openness and honesty you should do so casually. Don't make a big thing of it.

If he reacts badly, it will reveal more about him than you.
