The mini-series pilot and the full three series are available on demand here: http://www.tv-links.co.uk/show.do/1/11
I saw some episodes of the first series and found it slow going I must admit - BSG is following in the popular style of US cult shows of the moment of having a storyline that progressed only very gradually. However I've picked up the story again in series 3 and have really got hooked - to the extent that I've gone back to the first series and am now watching my way through earlier episodes to bring me up to date.
I don't want to go into detail about the series 3 finale in case there are fans on the forum who haven't seen it yet, but it's certainly been one of the strongest episodes so far and leaves a mix of cliffhangers and loose ends to be tied up in the next series.
If you're a fan - how have you been finding the show? And what about the way the whole story is leading?
For those who haven't seen it - although the plot broadly follows that of the original late 70s/early 80s series, it is otherwise vastly superior in every way. Not a camp cylon robot or super intelligent child who appears from nowhere in sight! Instead it's quite a dark series and the plot can be interpreted as quite symbolic - the Guardian featured an article comparing the storyline to the war on terror!
